About Stitching For A Cause:

Stitching for a Cause was developed by Logan, Ohio, native, Mandy Nihiser in 2009. Mandy wanted to use her passion for crocheting and knitting to help others. She remembered the hand-made hats that were given to her premature daughter at Children's Hospital and she wanted to bless people as she had been blessed. Mandy then recruited other crafts people from her church, Cornerstone Baptist, to help her in her endeavor. It branched out from there. Soon Mandy was recruiting people in the surrounding communty.

Stitching for a Cause will made it's first donation to Children's Hospital in Columbus in March 2010. We were overwhelmed at the local response we received of items made and donated yarn. Thank you!

Stitching for a Cause is planning on making it's next donation after Christmas 2010, probably in January 2011, Lord willing!

Stitching for a Cause hopes to recruit even more volunteers and eventally hold monthly work meetings. We hope to recieve feedback from the families we are able to reach, and we plan to share that here on this site.
