Do you crochet, knit or sew? You can have fun, while helping others! Stitching for a Cause is a group of volunteers who knit, crochet and sew preemie and regular-sized baby items to donate to Children's Hospital in Columbus. We are now also making Chemo Caps for patients of Lancaster Oncology. I spoke to a representative at Children's Hospital, they could use hats, booties and mittens, blankets and afghans, bibs, gowns, and similar items. See the patterns page for more ideas and links to free patterns. My next trip to the hospital will be in after Christmas 2010 (i.e. January 2011). If you're able to help contact us and let us know.
