Materials:
Caron Simply Soft (I used soft blue)
F crochet hook
Tapestry needle

Notes:
Beginning ch counts as first dc

Hat:
Ch 4, join with a sl st to first ch to form a loop
Row 1: Ch 3, 14 dc in loop, join with sl st to ch 3 (15 dc)
Row 2: ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in each st around, join with sl st to ch 3 (30 dc)
Row 3: ch 3, dc in same st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) repeat around
Row 4: ch 3, dc in same st, (dc in 2 st, 2 dc in next st) repeat around
Row 5: ch 3, dc in same st, (dc in 3 st, 2 dc in next st) repeat around
Row 6: ch 3, dc in same st, (dc in 4 st, 2 dc in next st) repeat around
Row 7 and 8: ch 3 dc in each st around
Row 9: ch 3, (dc2tog, dc in next st) repeat around
Row 10: ch 3, dc2tog around

Brim:
Row 11: ch 3, dc in next 14 st (15 dc)
